Skim and Stir Tool
Storvik’s skim and stir tools offer long service life and easy blade replacement with a simple two-bolt connection.
- Stir tool lifespan: Proven up to 35 days in continuous use (vs. 4–5 days for steel blades)
- Skim tool lifespan: Up to 8 months in casthouse operations
- Benefits: Reduced iron contamination, gentle on furnace linings, adaptable to multiple vehicle types
Alloying Cage
Designed for safe and efficient addition of magnesium ingots to the melt.

- Material: Proprietary cast iron developed by Storvik
