Storvik has delivered cast metal tapping pipes to major aluminium producers,
worldwide for decades. The metal tapping pipes are cast from a proprietary grey iron alloy named PjN-G.
The alloy is developed by Storvik to provide increased lifetime compared with standard alloys in the market.
Storvik has a great focus on sustainability, responsible consumption and production,
and thereby reducing the overall carbon footprint by our customers. Our benchmark compared with standard alloys
are 3-5 time more metal pr tapping pipe. Estimated reduced carbon footprint is 3,8-7,6 tons
of Co2 pr ton of grey iron used Storvik’s focus is to provide clients with cost-effective, long-term solutions.
